Friend, we just got some VERY troubling news:

Our anti-abortion Republican opponent is telling his supporters about a poll showing him leading Emily by one point, 46-45.

Let’s be clear: If we allowed MAGA Republicans to flip Washington’s 6th District, it would be a DISASTER with national implications. Control of the Congress is on a knife’s edge. Losing this seat would put our goal of a pro-choice Democratic House majority out of reach.

Not to mention that our opponent is anti-abortion, anti-vote-by-mail, and even anti-marriage equality (!!??). He spread dangerous conspiracy theories about Planned Parenthood. He’s telling supporters he’s “aggressively raising money” to defeat us.

October fundraising has been slower than expected, and the election is less than a month away. This poll is a warning sign that we’ve GOT to catch up and protect this critical seat — split a contribution between Senator Patty Murray and our campaign today →

This year is the first wide-open race for Washington’s 6th District in nearly 50 years.

We haven’t seen this GOP poll, so we don’t know how accurate it is. But friend, we refuse to be caught off guard. With so much on the line, we can’t take any chances.
