The brave men and women on the frontlines of this pandemic are fighting with one hand tied behind their backs, and President Trump has done nothing to stop it.

Instead, he’s waiting for a “worst-case scenario” to implement the Defense Production Act and get doctors, nurses, and other essential workers the PPEs they need to do their job with as little risk as possible.

When I talk about weak leadership, this is what I’m talking about.

Trump should have been decisive early on and taken steps to ensure healthcare system was well equipped to battle a global pandemic, but instead, he’s resorted to xenophobic attacks to try and deflect blame away from himself.

We need Texas voices to say this loud and clear: President Trump MUST use the Defense Production Act to end the shortage of PPEs and keep American first responders safe!

There’s no reason to wait,
