Dear SPUC supporter,

Key events to help defeat assisted suicide bill

It is more important than ever that as many people as possible attend one of our events to help defeat Labour MP Kim Leadbeater's assisted suicide bill. Dr Dominic Whitehouse is a palliative care consultant working in a hospice. He will give us key arguments to lobby our MPs.

Coming to one of our events will be an act of solidarity and witness against the killing of vulnerable people.

The meetings will take place at:

  • Manchester: 7.30 – 9pm, Tuesday 22 October 2024
  • Newcastle: 7.30 – 9pm, Wednesday 23 October 2024
  • Reading, Berkshire: 7.30 - 9pm, Tuesday 29 October 2024
Dr Whitehouse will explain why a change in the law will harm patients, doctors and society. This is a unique and important opportunity to hear a palliative care doctor speak at a public meeting about why assisted suicide is so wrong.
