But encouragingly, our research shows almost 35 million UK adults are confident they could buy less. That's why this November, we're bringing back Buy Nothing New Month.

Let's reduce waste, boycott Black Friday, and resist impulse buys by vowing to buy nothing new throughout November — excluding essentials like food and medicine.

To help, we'll share alternatives like shopping locally for pre-loved goods, reusing, repairing, as well as tips on gifting without buying new.
