Help give someone the gift of sight

Dear Friend,

Happy World Sight Day!

You can help save the sight of infants and children, giving families hope of a brighter future ahead. With healthy sight, kids will be able to see their parents’ faces and their family’s love as they grow up – and LOVE THEIR EYES.

This World Sight Day, please join us in focusing on children’s eye health worldwide and giving every child the chance to love their eyes. This year, Orbis is on a mission to help screen children in need of eye care. Eye exams are important for catching issues early and keeping eyes healthy. Unfortunately, not every child gets the chance to have one. That's why we’re reaching out to you today, please consider making a gift this World Sight Day. ([link removed])

I know you agree that no child should grow up at risk of vision loss when it can be treated or prevented. But around the world, there are nearly 90 million young people who suffer from moderate-to-severe vision loss from sight-stealing conditions, such as retinopathy of prematurity, trachoma, cataracts, ptosis, and strabismus.

By making a gift today, ([link removed]) you’ll give children the opportunity to clearly see their parents’ faces for the first time, read the blackboard at school and focus on their studies, allowing them to reach their full potential. Plus, they’ll see all the wonders of the world around them!

To help children LOVE THEIR EYES, we’re using all of Orbis’s sight-saving tools to bring world-class vision care to young patients in need.
* Our REACH (Refractive Error Among Children) program provides free eye screenings and prescription glasses for school-aged children struggling to see in the classroom.
* We partner with local eye care professionals to provide quality pediatric care through projects like the Flying Eye Hospital to strengthen eye health throughout entire communities and countries.
* We train local eye teams so they can provide care to local children and adults for years to come.

We show kids the love they need at a critical time, while they show us their strength and courage. All of these efforts are critical work to end avoidable blindness for children and adults around the globe.

On World Sight Day, help kids love their eyes by making a sight-saving gift today. ([link removed])

Gratefully,
