Dear Friend,
There are nearly 7 million Americans living with Alzheimer's disease. Behind that enormous and growing number are stories of love, resilience and hope in the face of terrible odds. Stories of everyday people who are living for today and fighting for tomorrow.
Every one of them, as well as the over 11 million family members and friends providing their unpaid care, need your help right now. Our supporters have helped provide care and support to people affected by Alzheimer's and all other dementia, as well as accelerate vital research. You have the opportunity for your next contribution to make double the difference. But our October $75,000 Match Challenge is only around for a few days, so we need you to act right now.
This match is made possible by Jane and Fred Schmidt, who have made a generous pledge of $75,000 to support Alzheimer's research efforts — but only if we can raise the same amount by October 14. Their gift is made in loving memory of Jane's father, Robert "RT" Tracy, who passed away with Alzheimer's in 2006 and would have celebrated his 100th birthday this year.
Please don't wait. This offer is only available for a few days. There is no better time to help us further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. And it's never been needed more.
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
