As the festive season approaches, excitement fills the air! It’s a bustling time, yet it also embodies the spirit of giving and the sense of community that unites us all.

Launching shortly, our Festive Appeal aims to raise an ambitious $300,000 to continue our vital support for over 20,000 babies and children each year. We can’t achieve this without your help !

HOLD A FUNDRAISER FOR OUR VILLAGE!

We’d love for you to consider adding a fundraising event to your social calendar this season to help make a meaningful difference. Your efforts, no matter how big or small, can bring hope and joy to those in need. Together, let’s spread cheer and make a lasting impact for Our Village this festive season!

How can you help?  We thought you might ask…here are some ideas to get you started! How about:

• Festive Drinks/Party – ask your friends & family, neighbours or work colleagues to come along and give a gold coin donation. If you do this at your workplace maybe the big boss might even match what you raised!

• Host “The Voice” – encourage family and friends or work colleagues to showcase their hidden talents - you might be surprised that there is a talented singer or comedian amongst you all! Charge admission and make it a fun evening or lunchtime event.  

• Fancy yourself a Masterchef baker? – whip up some gourmet festive treats for a morning tea gathering and exchange them for a fiver – cheaper than a muffin from the local cafe.

You can also hold a donation drive along with your fundraising efforts. Encourage family, friends or co-workers to bring in pre-loved essential baby and children items that we can rehome to families in need. For more info on the items we rehome please visit our website. We prefer not to have items pre wrapped before you donate them and ask for no christmas themed clothing please. 1. Set up a donation page here or collect cash donations and deposit them into our bank account after your event. 

1. Spread the word! Promote your fundraiser to your community to get the ball rolling. When using social media don't forget to tag us – @ourvillage.

We simply won't be able to reach our $300,000 Festive Appeal target without your fundraising efforts - so here are some tools to get you on your way! We have fundraising posters to print, you can create your own personal fundraising page and of course you can speak to us anytime you need to.
