John, I am everything that Mark Robinson hates.

I’m a Muslim woman of color, who has the audacity to use my voice and speak up, and who had the audacity to become an elected official.

He’s argued that women shouldn’t be allowed to vote. He said we are meant to be led by men, not women. He’s made countless Islamophobic comments. And we recently found out that he even voiced that he’s pro-slavery…

So I’m spending these next 27 days making sure that Mark Robinson never steps foot in the governor’s mansion. If you’re with me, rush $27 before midnight to help me turn out progressives to defeat him. >>

John, it’s bigger than just me being everything that Mark Robinson hates. It’s that what he stands for is a real, huge threat to people like me and families like mine.

If you don’t view all people as your equals, then you should stay the heck out of public service.

But John, Mark Robinson is running for higher office, because he wants North Carolina to return to the past. He wants us to return to a time where people like me and my family were not viewed as equals, and one where marginalized groups live under attack.
