Team,
In CA-38, over 60% of our community identifies as Latino—and I’m proud to be part of that heritage!
Together, we’ve overcome obstacles within our community, like unfair working conditions, unequal access to quality education, little representation in government, and more.
But our fight is far from over.
Latinas still earn just 51 cents for every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic men, costing Latino families on average $1.2 million a lifetime. DACA recipients still do not have a guaranteed pathway to citizenship. And the rise of extremism, discrimination, and hate have taken a toll on our communities.
That’s why I committed to uplifting the Hispanic community, especially with this year’s election 3 weeks away. As the Chair of BOLD PAC, the campaign arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, it is my top priority to elect progressive Latinos who will stand up for our rights.
Let’s honor our heritage not just by celebrating our past but by fighting for our future—one where all of us have the opportunity to thrive.
Linda 💙
