*LCB Action: Acceptable Identification Reform - Preproposal Statement of Inquiry (CR 101) Filed*
On Oct. 9, 2024, the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) took the following action:
The Board approved a Preproposal Statement of Inquiry (CR 101) to consider amending WAC 314-11-025 [ [link removed] ] and WAC 314-55-150 [ [link removed] ], and amending, repealing, or creating other sections of Title 314 WAC as necessary to respond to two rulemaking petitions accepted in April 2023 [ [link removed] ] and another in July 2023 [ [link removed] ] on allowable types of identification.
The LCB is asking for stakeholder feedback and input on this topic by Nov. 20, 2024.
