I attended a candidate forum last week, but guess who didn’t show up–again?

This makes five forums in a row that Bergman has skipped, and it’s no surprise to us Northern and Upper Michiganders. He’s been a no-show for our community over the past 8 years in Congress.

He wasn’t there for seniors and working families when it came down to lowering the costs of prescription drug prices or for veterans when it came down to protecting veterans’ medical care.

We deserve better than someone who refuses to show up. Our district deserves a representative who listens, takes action, and fights for our needs.

I’m committed to being that voice. Every day, we are traveling across this district to meet with countless constituents because your voice matters to me. And in Congress, I’ll continue showing up–for veterans, seniors, working and middle-class families, and our environment.
