First, our political opponents started the process of recalling Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Then, Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey backed a petition drive to limit the Governor’s emergency powers, saying this is “probably the Number 1 priority right now.”

Now, Republicans in the state legislature are filing lawsuits against Gretchen for listening to health experts during a public health crisis.

Republicans in Michigan are trying to take away Gretchen’s emergency powers with petty lawsuits and roundabout petitions. They’re throwing everything they’ve got at us.
