I’ve hit a nerve, John.

When I decided to launch my campaign for Senate, I made it clear that I’m not in this for the title, and I won’t be a puppet for either party.

Apparently, standing up for what’s right is not the kind of leadership some of the status-quo politicians in Washington would like to see.

I’m getting attacks from both sides of the aisle, and I need your help. I’m willing to take the heat to do what’s right for Maryland and for our country.

Every attack that’s thrown my way is another reminder of why we need the strongest war chest possible heading into the final few weeks before Election Day. Will you chip in any amount you can afford today?

Just up the road in Washington, we have too many politicians who are consumed with creating division and amplifying partisan bickering.

I’m sick and tired of the toxic politics happening all around us, and I’m sure you are too.

I refuse to sit back and watch the chaos in Washington unfold, and I refuse to let anyone else attempt to tell us what’s best for our state.

I’m a proud Marylander. I grew up in PG County. I take pride in being from this great state and you better believe I’m listening to you—not the politicians and pundits who want me to fall in line with their own best interests.

Some status-quo politicians might get mad at me for standing up for what’s best for our state and our country.

Frankly, I don’t care. I’ll take the slings and arrows from both sides.

If doing what’s right for Maryland sometimes comes in conflict with party politics, so be it. I will continue to be the same strong independent leader for Maryland that I always have been.

But if we’re going to win this race, I’ll need your help now more than ever before. My debate with Angela Alsobrooks is tomorrow, October 10 and Election Day is in less than 27 days.

Would you consider chipping in any amount to help fund my campaign at this critical moment to help me win this race and bring strong independent leadership to the Senate?

Thank you,

Gov. Hogan

A Personal Message from Governor Larry Hogan:

[link removed]

Hi, it’s Governor Larry Hogan.

When I launched my campaign for the U.S. Senate, I did so with a deep resolve to maintain the leadership style and principles that guided me during my eight years as governor.

Fifty years ago, my father, Maryland Congressman Larry Hogan Sr. made a tough decision. He became the first Republican to come out for the impeachment of President Nixon. He put aside party politics and his own personal considerations and stepped up to do the right thing for Maryland and the nation.

Today, Washington is completely broken because that kind of leadership and willingness to put country over party has become far too rare. But it’s not in my nature to sit back and watch the dysfunction continue without doing what I can to roll up my sleeves and get to work.

I’m under no illusion this will be an easy road. But I’m no stranger to uphill battles, and I know I can’t do it without your support.

I don't aspire to be a United States senator. I don’t need a title and I don’t need a job, but I’m more concerned than ever about the direction of the country and I have become more convinced that I can make a difference by taking the approach and style of leadership I had during my eight years as governor to Washington.

It’s no surprise this mindset has made me a target of the Washington partisans. Despite early polls showing a lead, I know I’m the underdog in this race. And that’s why your support TODAY is so crucial.

So if you can chip in a donation of $25 or more, it will go a long way in helping me continue building a strong campaign.

For eight years, we proved that the toxic politics that divide our nation didn’t need to divide our state, and we got results! Let’s get back to work again and send a message to Washington that will be heard loud and clear across the country!

Will you join me today and help end the dysfunction in Washington?
Thank you,

Larry Hogan
