Israel's enemies are relentless, so we should be, too.

Dear John,

It has been a year since a group of Hamas terrorists launched a deadly attack on Israel, killing over 1,200 people and kidnapping hundreds more. The bloodshed was indiscriminate. Men, women, and even children were the target of this senseless act of terror. In the aftermath of the attack, the world was paralyzed by fear and confusion. Now, one year later, people's concern that this was the beginning of a much larger regional issue has turned out to be correct.

Since Hamas' initial attack on Israel last year, we have seen continued attacks on Israel from Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran. To make matters worse, we have seen a rise in antisemitism around the world as people sympathize with Israel's attackers! Even America, a longtime ally of Israel, has been lukewarm in its support of Israel under the Biden-Harris administration.

In fact, recent actions likely enabled Iran's latest round of violence against the Jewish people. As recently as March of this year, the Biden-Harris administration renewed a sanctions waiver that gave Iran access to $10 billion in previously escrowed funds.

Potentially because of their new access to these funds, Iran was able to fire nearly two hundred ballistic missiles at Israel on October 1. Miraculously, not a single Israeli was killed, and no vital infrastructure was destroyed.

This comes just months after Iran's previous attack, likely made possible due to previous sanction relief courtesy of the Biden-Harris administration. However, it also was largely ineffective, a testament to the fact that God watches over the land of Israel. On a panel dedicated to understanding Israel at Pray Vote Stand Summit last week, Daniel Cohen, News Director for Real Life Network, said, "This is a historic moment. God's hand is protecting Israel."

At FRC, we've been standing with Israel from the beginning, and we won't back down now. Through numerous prayer pledges, resources, and media efforts, we've been calling on faithful Christians nationwide to continue praying for and standing with Israel.

Israel is facing an existential threat from enemies in the Middle East, and they need our support. Will you stand with us as we stand for Israel in Washington, D.C.? With your generous gift of any size, we'll send you a digital copy of our booklet that will help you explain why Christians must pray for Israel and stand with the Jewish people.

STAND FOR ISRAEL WITH FRC

Even though Israel's enemies want to annihilate the Jewish people, that hasn't stopped the calls for a "two-state solution." Nearly one year after the deadly October 7 attack, Vice President Kamala Harris said in the presidential debate, "We must have a two-state solution where we can rebuild Gaza, where the Palestinians have security, self-determination and the dignity they so rightly deserve."

Israel's enemies have sworn that they will seek Israel's total destruction by any means necessary. This is exactly why a "two-state solution" will never work. Not as long as Israel's annihilation is their goal.

A senior contributing editor at the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS), Caroline Glick, discussed with me on Washington Watch that Kamala Harris's proposed two-state solution may be "the most hostile statement ever made by a major presidential candidate, by a nominee of one of the major parties, regarding Israel in history."

But we also know that these proposals coming from the United Nations and from individuals like Vice President Harris would stand in violation of Joel 3:2, where God pronounces judgment on those that would divide up the land of Israel. A "two state solution" would force Israel to give up Judea and Samaria, the heart of their country (often erroneously referred to as the West Bank), in addition to Gaza.

FRC is taking a stand because we know it's our biblical imperative and it will shape America's future.

We're not only spreading the word about what's really happening in the Middle East (through our communication channels like Washington Watch and The Washington Stand), but we're actively calling on churches across the country to stand with Israel through efforts like Pray for & Stand with Israel Sunday, which took place on May 19 of this year.

DEFEND ISRAEL WITH FRC

When the October 7 attacks first happened, the terrorist forces referred to the operation as the "Al-Aqsa Flood" because Al-Aqsa is the name of the mosque currently on top of the Temple Mount. That's the very heart of Israel and naming their attack in that way shows the terrorists' immense hatred for Israel.

History has shown that Israel's enemies have no interest in peaceably coexisting with Israel. They've vowed to destroy Israel, and I think we should believe them when they state their intent. Dr. A.J. Nolte reinforced this on the Pray Vote Stand Summit panel when he said, "They don't just hate Israel, they hate us." Remember, they call Israel the "little Satan," but we are the "great Satan." If Israel falls, these terrorists will come for us next.

I've said numerous times that I believe Israel is our most important spiritual ally, and we cannot abandon them when they're fighting an existential spiritual war.

Will you stand with us in support of Israel and the Jewish people, and join us in praying that all those involved in this conflict would come to faith in Jesus Christ?
