Hey, John, it's Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and I want to make one thing clear: now is the time for all of us to get off the sidelines, and get in the game.

There are just 27 days left until Election Day. That means that in less than a month we face a critical decision about what future we want. And this task falls on each and every one of us.

​​So I’m asking today: will you chip in $3, $6, or whatever you can right now to help support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz by electing Democratic governors?

John, the other side loves to talk a big game about freedom.

But they don’t believe in real freedom.

Real freedom means the ability to find a good-paying job in a strong, thriving, welcoming community. It’s the freedom to send your children and grandchildren to a safe, fully-funded public school. It’s the freedom to make your voice heard in our democracy, and to have that vote counted. It’s the freedom to live your life openly with pride, and love who you love.

Dangerous extremists are determined to impose their idea of freedom by telling women what to do with their bodies and telling our children what books they’re allowed to read.

But Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and my fellow Democratic governors? They are for real freedom – no matter who you are, where you’re from, what you look like, or who you do or do not pray to.

But with only 27 days until Election Day, we don’t have much time left to make a difference. And from the presidential race to control of the Senate, it’s no secret that Pennsylvania is set to be the most important, most impactful, most indispensable state in the entire nation.

That’s why I’m doing everything I can to elect Democrats up and down the ballot – including Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and their partners in the states: Democratic governors on November 5th. But I can’t do it alone, and we’re running out of time.
