John,
Last month, ProPublica reported that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken knew (and lied to Congress) about the Israeli government deliberately blocking food, medical supplies, and other aid from reaching millions of suffering Palestinians for over a year.
Now, a new bombshell report suggests that Blinken approved Israel bombing trucks carrying humanitarian aid into Gaza:
According to the report by Dropsite News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Blinken last October “I have got people in the cabinet who don’t want an aspirin to get into Gaza because of what’s happened.” Reporters say Blinken was present and participated in discussions with Israeli Security Cabinet members around “thwarting” aid like food, water, and medical supplies.
Since then, Israeli forces have shelled and bombed numerous aid trucks, including the time they targeted a clearly marked World Central Kitchen aid vehicle, killing 7 volunteers including one U.S. citizen.
Millions of Palestinians have been at risk of starvation due to this man-made famine at the hands of Israel’s right-wing government, and it’s clear the U.S. enabled it.
In solidarity,
