StatVentures Address Geolocation Challenge Phase 2 Info Session

Join Census Open Innovation Labs for an info session to learn how to compete in the new StatVentures Address Geolocation Challenge [ [link removed] ] Phase 2. Those who participate in the address geolocation challenge will submit a roadmap that innovates the ways the U.S. Census Bureau geolocates residential addresses, especially in rural and remote locations. Compete for a total of up to $250,000, divided across up to six prizes.

Building on ideas from Phase 1, we’re challenging America’s brightest minds to submit implementation roadmaps for new ways to identify rural and remote addresses. Roadmaps should demonstrate feasibility, a clear path forward, and a value proposition or potential return on investment for the Census Bureau. In this phase, teams will be evaluated on overall quality, innovation, feasibility, and value proposition. Teams who did not compete in or win in Phase 1 can still compete in Phase 2. A total of up to $250,000 in prizes will be awarded across up to six winners. Winners will also be invited to compete in Phase 3, if and when Phase 3 is announced.
