Cook Political Report shifted our race rating in Eric Hovde’s direction, downgrading Wisconsin’s Senate seat from “Leans Democrat” to “Toss Up.”

It doesn’t get much closer than this, and there’s no guessing as to what has made this race so competitive. As Cook Political Report published, “it’s Hovde’s own money, along with the outside investment GOP groups are now making, that’s making this race closer.”

We’re being outspent now through Election Day thanks to the $20 million Eric Hovde has poured into his campaign from his own pockets and the eight-figure ad blitz Mitch McConnell’s super PAC launched this month.

The only way we can stop Hovde’s momentum and defend this toss up Senate seat is by closing the spending gap and reaching more voters with our campaign ads.

Since I can’t self-fund like my megamillionaire opponent, I’m counting on your grassroots support today.
