Getting a job that allows you to develop and support yourself financially is one of the most satisfying and life-changing things that can happen to anyone.

But landing a good job is difficult, especially when you face barriers to employment that others don't.

In honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we wanted to share a few stories with you of people in our Easterseals community who have overcome barriers to achieve great success and land the jobs that are right for them.

These stories are thanks in part to our efforts to expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities across the country by helping to identify skills with a person-centered approach while providing assistive technology and accessible transportation support.

We’re also proud to connect businesses with the diverse talent represented by the people with disabilities we support.

Thanks to our programs, we help thousands of people with disabilities find employment they are qualified for every year. And we want to share their stories with the supporters like you who make all of this possible.
