This summer, Washington, D.C., residents took over 23,000 trips a day on a Lime [[link removed]] e-bike or e-scooter. All of us at Lime have been blown away by the data showing just how much our neighbors here have come to think of us and use our vehicles as a form of public transportation.
We are so grateful to our riders and to the city, to the District Department of Transportation and everyone who has embraced our safe, fun, and affordable ways of getting around sustainably. With so many rides happening every day, we’re working overtime to make sure everyone knows about our LimePass [[link removed]] option, which makes a whole lot of financial sense for anyone who rides regularly.
You may have seen some posters and billboards this past month designed to starkly show the choice between riding Lime and being shackled to their cars. We’re so glad so many of our neighbors here are choosing to scoot or bike by traffic rather than suffer the high cost of gas, car maintenance, insurance, parking and everything else that comes with driving a car.
We’ll always keep looking for ways to keep our riders and our city happy. We’re so proud to have become part of the District’s public transportation network and we look forward to finding new and creative ways to give back to you, our riders.
