We're just days away from CND's conference, The World We Want: A New Agenda for Peace and Justice! Amid rising nuclear threats, a growth in active conflicts, and the impact of climate breakdown risking more, we need fresh thinking on how we create genuine security and justice for all.
With CND Vice-President Jeremy Corbyn, Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP, arms trade expert and anti-Apartheid campaigner Andrew Feinstein, and CND Vice-President Roger McKenzie among our list of panelists, this conference will look at what is causing conflict in the world today. More importantly, it will discuss solutions, policies, and campaigns on how we change this for the better. See our full timetable here.

Keep Space for Peace protest at MoD
Campaigners from CND, Space Watch UK (a project of Drone Wars UK), and Scientists for Global Responsibility were outside the Ministry of Defence today, to protest Britain's role in the growing militarisation of space. The action is part of Keep Space for Peace week, a global week of action to raise awareness about the growing militarisation of space.
You can watch the speeches given by CND General Secretary, Kate Hudson and Executive Director of Drone Wars UK, Chris Cole on CND's Facebook and Instagram pages.

Watch Threads with CND tonight!
A reminder that the 1984 apocalyptic docu-drama Threads will be aired on BBC 4 tonight. It's only the fourth time that the BBC has aired Threads in the film's 40 year history. Despite this, it has become a critically acclaimed classic for its harrowing and realistic portrayal of what survival in Britain would be like in the aftermath of a nuclear war.
Ahead of its start time at 10:15pm, the film's director and producer Mick Jackson shares the story of how the film was made.
- Mick Jackson Remembers...Threads, BBC 4, 10:00pm
- Threads, BBC 4, 10:15pm
Please join CND in watching the film live and take part in the conversation on Twitter/X using the hashtag #Threads40!
