Here’s the latest in our race:

Momentum is on our side! Our campaign is getting recognized as potentially on the rise, but only if we can weather the ongoing barrage of attack ads. It is a sign of respect for our grassroots power, and it's a sign of our widespread support in Central and Northwest Illinois for our campaign.

That’s the good news. Now for the bad news…

We're still being outspent on TV and by mail when you factor in the dark-money super PACs operating in our community – running vicious attack ads against me. We also got word that Republican leader Mike Johnson is coming to IL-17 in less than two weeks to boost my opponent’s support.

We need to keep pushing through these final weeks. YOU (yes you, friend) have helped us keep pace so far, but we can't take anything for granted. Not right now.
