Economic Democracy Weekly

Today’s Economic Democracy Weekly examines the solidarity economy. We begin with a story on how, based on a decade’s organizing, a Black-led food co-op in Detroit was able to open its doors this year. We follow that with a story on community solidarity amid gentrification in a Puerto Rican neighborhood in Brooklyn. Then, an article on how to link solidarity economy organizing with policy work. Finally, we want to hear from you: please submit your stories of pursuing workplace solidarity for our column, "We Stood Up."
