John,

Our team at GLSEN is working around the clock to develop programming and ensure we are supporting LGBTQ students across the country during COVID-19.

And we’re not doing it alone.

Everyday countless teachers and educators are working behind the scenes to better the lives of their students and create inclusive spaces for LGBTQ youth. This is never easy and, as schools remain closed across the country, new challenges arise every day.

John, will you join in supporting GLSEN’s work with teachers and LGBTQ allies during this critical time? [[link removed]]

This isn’t a crisis that can wait for a solution. Students are at home today. Educators are rapidly adapting to a shifting environment. Teachers are working overtime to stay connected to their students.

And we don’t need to tell you what an especially important role these teachers play for LGBTQ students:

“Having strong supportive educators reminds me that I have people who are willing to fight for me and stand up for me no matter what! Thank you for making me feel supported and loved.” –Chris

In response to this unprecedented need brought about by social distancing, GLSEN is extending our celebration of Giving Tuesday Now. We know not everyone has the means to make a donation right now—but we hope those who can, give as generously as possible. [[link removed]]

We will continue to find strength in our community and continue fighting to guarantee that LGBTQ youth are safe and protected.

Thank you for all you do,
GLSEN

PS: John, will you help us send some well-deserved praise and love to the educators who are making a real difference in the lives of LGBTQ students? Add your name to our card thanking fearless educators for their work to create safe, inclusive spaces for all students. [[link removed]?]
