On June 26, 2017, the same day that the Supreme Court agreed to take up Jack's historic case, a Colorado attorney called Jack's shop asking for a custom pink and blue cake to celebrate the attorney's gender transition.
Jack politely declined due to his religious convictions.
Less than a month after the nation's highest court ruled in the historic Masterpiece Cakeshop case, the same Colorado government agencies decided to pursue Jack a second time. They claimed the law required Jack to make this pink-and-blue cake.
Thankfully, after Jack filed a federal lawsuit against Colorado, the government backed off.
But just when Jack thought he and his family could move on, that same attorney decided to sue Jack in state court seeking damages of more than $100,000!
Jack has been forced to spend the last seven years of his life in court. And during that time, one thing has become abundantly clear: For opponents of religious freedom, tolerance is not an option. They believe that Christians like you and Jack must help celebrate what violates your faith-or pay the price.
Will you sign the letter of support today? Jack needs to know that he has the support of fellow Christians just like you who believe that religious freedom here in America must be protected.
Alliance Defending Freedom has been by Jack's side since the beginning. We were privileged to stand with him at the U.S. Supreme Court, and we will continue to provide his legal defense free of charge now and in the future. But this work is only possible with God's provision and the financial gifts of people like you.
But no matter how far his case goes, Jack needs the encouragement of brothers and sisters like you. He is boldly standing to protect our religious freedom, and he needs all of the prayer and support we can give him.
Please take a moment to sign the National Letter of Support today, and let Jack know you stand with him as he continues this historic fight on behalf of all Christians.
