Election forecaster Sabato’s Crystal Ball gives Democrats a 50/50 chance of winning a majority in the House of Representatives.
Five key Democrats are challenging Republicans in tight House races in some of the most flippable districts in the country.
All five are in presidential battleground states. When they motivate their supporters to vote, it also boosts turnout for Kamala Harris in the presidential race.
For these Dems anything could tip the balance. Every dollar counts.
- In Pennsylvania's 10th, Democrat Janelle Stelson is protecting Social Security—funding for one more day of canvassing could ensure that hundreds of seniors hear directly about who's fighting for them.
- In Michigan's 7th, Curtis Hertel is fighting to lower prescription drug prices—one more TV ad could reach seniors and families struggling with high drug prices, reminding them who's fighting for relief.
- Next door in Michigan's 8th, Kristen McDonald Rivet is standing up to corporate greed—one more flyer highlighting her opponent's record of siding with corporate interests could win the race.
- In Arizona's 6th, Democrat Kirsten Engel is fighting to stop corporate price gouging—one more mailer targeting key undecided voters could be what tips the balance.
- In Nebraska's 2nd, Democrat Tony Vargas is working for a middle-class tax cut—funding a targeted phone banking session could help reach hundreds of voters who need to hear what’s at stake.
These races are among our best chances to take back the House. But it will only happen if every one of us does everything we can.
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
