John,

As an over-the-road truck driver, I've gotten used to birthdays & holidays on the road. I'm away from home on my birthday again this year. I'm working non-stop all this month so I can transition to a local part-time job that allows me to dedicate the hours needed for us to win this campaign. Today, I'm turning 26. And I have a wish. It's the same wish that Congresswoman Barbara Jordan had - An America as good as it's promise.

In life, I've learned no one does anything alone. Friends & families rush in to help new parents. Teachers help us raise our kids. Nurses keep our communities healthy. We all rely on one another in good times and bad. In that spirit I am asking you to chip in $26 to our campaign today.

We are fighting for an economic and political system that is just. A country where we don't snatch babies from their mothers' arms, but one where we guarantee basic economic and social human rights. We are fighting for an America that rights the harm done to our indigenous communities. I need your help to make that wish a reality. Can you donate $26 today?

In solidarity and service,

Joshua Collins
