This morning we reached out to let you know that Andrea’s opponent just went negative in this race.

Now, unfortunately, I’m reaching out with another concerning update: unless we get our October fundraising back on track, we won’t have the resources to keep our ads on air.

Going dark while our opponent attacks Andrea would be just about the worst kind of “October surprise” I can imagine. If everyone reading this email pitches in just $5, that would go a long way toward helping us continue to get Andrea’s message out to voters.

I know we’ve been asking a lot lately, and I’m sorry for reaching out twice in one day.

We’re in the kind of deadlocked race where every single decision we make, and every dollar we raise, has enormous stakes for the outcome. And that means that today is just one of those days where we have to ask this grassroots team for more than I’d usually feel comfortable asking.
