My opponent has consistently opposed bipartisan legislation aimed at increasing public safety. He was one of a small group of naysayers who voted against Jennifer’s Law , a bill designed to protect victims of domestic violence, and he opposed a bill to cover access to 3D mammograms that passed 141-3, an essential tool for detecting breast cancer. And more recently, he’s been making headlines for a very odd, misleading Facebook post on Breast Cancer Awareness Month that has been disowned by leaders of his own party. His record speaks for itself—he has consistently worked to undermine the health and safety of women in Connecticut.
