New reporting from Reuters has found that control of the U.S. House is likely to NOT come down to traditional purple states, but right here in California.

But here’s the problem: Because California leans blue at the Presidential level, grassroots Democrats aren’t paying attention to our state.

We’re trying to raise $10,000 before midnight to refill our Swing Seat Fund. Donations to this fund will go toward making sure we can flip the make-or-break seats here in California that’ll decide control of the U.S. House.

We know that the media spends most of their time focusing on the buzzy swing states in the Presidential race, John.

But while those states are critical for electing Vice President Kamala Harris, they won’t deliver President Harris a Democratic U.S. House Majority.

That will be decided right here in California.

As the California Democratic Party, we are leading the charge to flip swing seats in our state. And right now we are on the right track — polls show us taking narrow leads in our target districts. But we need to rush another blitz of resources to combat dark money from GOP mega donors like Elon Musk. Will you pitch in now?
