Hi John,
Big news: Kamala Harris just announced a major new plan called Medicare at Home to help "sandwich generation" families struggling to afford the skyrocketing costs of caring for aging parents and young children.
In what would be the largest boost in federal support for caregiving in American history, Harris' historic proposal would help, for the first time, seniors and people with disabilities on Medicare. This proposal would allow them to receive care at home, by providing much needed financial assistance and reducing emotional stress to families all while allowing for seniors to live independently in their own homes.
To make this exciting new proposal a reality, we need all hands on deck to talk to voters about the critical role of care in this election and beyond.
To celebrate today’s big announcement, check out events happening online and across the country.
Access to quality, affordable care at home should not be an issue left for families to deal with on their own.
Let's do this,
