Families in Lebanon need immediate support.

"We have a window of opportunity here to be able to respond quickly to the needs. We need help now more than ever." —Juan Gabriel Wells, the IRC Country Director in Lebanon

John: Ongoing Israeli airstrikes are displacing tens of thousands of people in Lebanon. IRC teams are on the ground and responding to help displaced families who are fleeing the escalating conflict. We have mobilized a medical team. And we are providing free medical consultations and medications, as well as mental health and psychosocial support.

Is there any way you can rush your donation right now to help children and families in Lebanon and other crises?

The International Rescue Committee is deeply concerned by the escalating conflict.

We have mobilized a medical team in Lebanon, in close coordination with the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health and our local partner, the Primary Health Care Centers in the North.

The team consists of nurses, general physicians, social workers and community health workers, who are assessing the pressing health needs of displaced families.

We are also providing free medical consultations and medications, as well as mental health and psychosocial support to people who have been displaced.

The IRC has been working in Lebanon since 2012, delivering relief programs to Lebanese citizens and refugees. Today, the IRC provides emergency and long-term support to people affected by, and recovering from, overlapping crises.

Families in Lebanon are suffering amid the escalating conflict. Are you able to make your emergency donation today to help children and families in Lebanon, and those facing crises around the world? >>
