It had been ruled by a special master that 99% of the signatures in question should be disqualified!
The committee behind this measure KNEW about the duplicates, yet they OBSTRUCTED and DELAYED the review of these duplicates for more than one month!
We MUST take heed: If Prop 140 is passed by voters, this is what it means for future Arizona elections:
-It will allow for ONE politician - the AZ Secretary of State, to decide how many candidates qualify for the general election ballot for every single contest, including his or her own race!
-It would also result in some races where candidates from only one political party appear on the general election ballot!
-Voters will be forced to navigate two completely different voting systems on the same ballot, with some races requiring voters to rank candidates and others that do not!
-Tabulation errors will increase, lines at the polls will get longer, and election results will be significantly delayed!
