Hi John,

The DACA program will be at the court this Thursday. Join us for a digital week of action as we call for protection for DACA recipients, undocumented youth, and our communities! ([link removed])

My name is Grace Yeo and I am the Digital & Design Manager at Immigrants Rising. At Immigrants Rising, our work has continued to show that when undocumented people are able to pursue education and careers, they create new, brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities. We all rise together.

On October 10, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans will hold a hearing targeting DACA. While we don’t anticipate the court to make decisions immediately nor decisions that will abruptly end the program, Immigrants Rising and other Home Is Here advocates will gather in New Orleans to urge the court to protect DACA and family unity. While litigation continues, DACA remains in effect as it has been: renewals will be accepted but no new applications will be processed. Immigrants Rising will remain focused on supporting the economic mobility of undocumented individuals in California and beyond until everyone can fully pursue an education and career without constraint.

Will you join me as we stand up for DACA and immigrant communities whose home is here in the U.S.? ([link removed])

Check out below for various ways you can join me this week, in-person and virtually:
* Text HOME IS HERE to 787-57 to join the Home Is Here community in urging the White House, Congress, and Attorneys General to protect DACA.
* Use social media to share resources and show support for undocumented people! You can use Home Is Here’s digital toolkit ([link removed]) , which includes content you can share on your channels. You can also re-share content from Immigrants Rising’s Instagram ([link removed]) , Facebook ([link removed]) , and LinkedIn ([link removed]) .
* Stay connected and ready to take action! As the court cases and anti-immigrant movement unfold, we need you with us to advocate for protective and inclusive policies in our cities, states, and the nation.
* Continue renewing your DACA, explore options beyond DACA, and know what you can do right now as a DACA recipient ([link removed]) .

The week following the hearing, Home Is Here will be hosting a community call for updates on the DACA litigation and our fight ahead. Click here ([link removed]) to attend the virtual community rally on October 15.
