Dear Fellow Advocate,
As we approach the election, it's amazing how swiftly time has flown. One of our key missions before the year ends is to ensure that our unhoused brothers and sisters have the resources to cast their vote in this upcoming election. Thanks to the dedication of our incredible team, the Bring America Home NOW campaign, in collaboration with the Local Power Tour and the Transformative Justice Coalition, has launched the "I'll Rise and Vote" Campaign. This initiative is focused on registering people to vote and making sure their voices are heard. More exciting details on this to come!
We’re also thrilled to share the overwhelming support we’ve received for our upcoming Leadership Conference, which we’re co-hosting with Destination Home. This gathering will be a transformative experience, featuring seminars and workshops that will equip our participants—especially those with lived experience—with the tools to become empowered leaders. The possibilities before us are endless.
As we step into October, remember that you are limitless in your potential. United, we are stronger, and together, we can create meaningful, lasting change for our cherished community. Let’s make every moment count. |

You Don't Need a Home to Vote |
The You Don’t Need a Home to Vote campaign seeks to promote voting access for low income and homeless persons to ensure that people who are economically disadvantaged maintain a voice in shaping their future. This toolkit provides ideas for individuals and organizations interested in helping people experiencing homelessness to overcome the obstacles that have traditionally prevented them from becoming registered, active voters.
We have a wide range of resources available for everyone, including voter registration cards for each state, FAQs, and both National and State Resources. Click the "Learn More" button to access these helpful tools. Voter Know-Your-Rights Cards:

2024 National Lived Experience Leadership Conference |
November 11 – 13, 2024 San Jose Marriott / San Jose, CA
The National Lived Experience Leadership Conference is a conference designed by and for people with lived experience of homelessness. Activists, local leaders, and people with homelessness experience will gather to build power and unity – and mobilize for action to end homelessness.
This annual conference will be hosted for the first time on the West Coast, featuring panel discussions, action labs, and workshops led by experts in the field – including people with lived experience of homelessness. Every aspect of this conference – from logistics planning to session themes – is being informed by the perspectives of the people who are most impacted by this issue. |
If you've made it to the end of this newsletter, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us in our mission to end homelessness. Remember, together we can overcome what once seemed impossible. Our strength lies in unity, and we hope you feel inspired knowing that we are tirelessly fighting for our unhoused brothers and sisters. I’ll leave you with these words to carry forward: "We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided." — J.K. Rowling
