While nearly four years have passed since the January 6 Insurrection, the impacts of that day still loom over our nation. Trump and his Big Lie supporters are doubling down, and we all know that if he loses in November, he will continue to spew lies and misinformation about our safe and secure elections.

Let me be clear: Donald Trump will not accept the results of the election unless he wins. This is another step in his campaign to undermine confidence in our elections, which has led to unprecedented threats of violence against election officials.

As Secretary of State, I have been threatened for doing the job I was elected to do and protecting the will of the people. It is unacceptable. Trump's dangerous rhetoric has created unsafe situations for election officials across the country.

We must stand up to his fear-mongering and anti-democratic efforts once again. Read more about it in The Washington Post.
