No US nukes! Join CND at RAF Lakenheath, 2 November
CND's next national demonstration in opposition to the return of US nuclear weapons to Britain will take place on Saturday, 2 November. The demo follows a busy summer of activity by the Lakenheath Alliance for Peace - of which CND is a member - including a two week peace camp in July, and the start of monthly peace vigils at the main gate.
We are delighted to announce that we'll be joined by Melissa Parke, Executive Director of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), who will speak about how Lakenheath fits into the wider campaign against nuclear weapons in Europe. A full list of speakers will be announced shortly. In the meantime, book your transport and get your banners ready!

Keep space for peace! Demonstration outside the MoD, 9 October
CND, Space Watch UK, and Scientists for Global Responsibility will be outside the Ministry of Defence tomorrow, Wednesday, 9 October, to protest Britain's role in the growing militarisation of space, including the development of a US space war radar in Pembrokeshire and plans to launch military capable satellites into orbit from Scotland. Please join us if you can and make sure to bring banners and placards!
