Dear Health Advocates,
We have some new and exciting resources for your advocacy this week!
Yesterday, in collaboration with Partners in Health United States, Families USA published a new resource, Charting the Course for Community Health Workers: Identifying Challenges and Opportunities to Secure Medicaid Reimbursement for CHWs in State Medicaid Programs. The paper discusses why federal and state lawmakers must support and implement policies that better integrate the delivery of community-based services by community-based providers into the design and infrastructure of the U.S. health care system.
Families USA also released a new insights blog, Prioritizing Mental Health Means Ensuring Comprehensive Coverage and Services, which talks about the need for prioritizing mental health services in the US Health Care System.
In other news, registration is now OPEN for our 30th Annual Health Action Conference! HAC 2025 will be held in person this year at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC on January 23-24! Please follow this link to register and secure your spot at HAC 2025!
