EDUCATOR SPOTLIGHT
Amber Burch
Amber Burch
4th Grade
Moorcroft Elementary, CCSD #1
4th grade Science and Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Amber Burch, goes above and beyond to provide her students engaging and enriching learning experiences. She organized a virtual field trip with the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, and other field trips to the North Antelope Rochelle Mine and The Vore Buffalo Jump. These experiences give students unique opportunities to explore and learn about topics which are in the area they live. Mrs. Burch gives them insight into Wyoming’s natural resources, the Indigenous Tribes from our area, Wyoming’s Ag industries and facts about many famous Wyoming landmarks.
"Amber is always professional and a delight to work with. She is a calm resilient force that does not waver and is on top of student learning. Her students have always scored above the state average on the WY-TOPP as well."
- Sherry Ewing, Assistant Principal, Moorcroft Elementary and Secondary School, CCSD #1
