News from Rep. Chip Roy

Dear Mr. xxxxxx,

I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional District, and our country as a whole:

FCC greenlights Soros purchase of radio giant Audacy
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved George Soros to buy radio-giant Audacy – a reckless, unprecedented move that will impact radio stations reaching millions of listeners across the U.S. — handing off our airwaves to foreign interests.

Under the Federal Communications Act, a radio station license cannot be held by a corporation with more than 25 percent foreign ownership. Soros acknowledged that the level of foreign ownership of Audacy will exceed that. I sounded the alarm on this deal months ago, calling on the FCC to follow normal approval procedures.

Biden-Harris DOJ attacks ballot integrity efforts
Democrats have constantly said that you do not need the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act because it is already illegal for non-citizens to vote in elections. However, the Biden-Harris Department of Justice (DOJ) is suing states that want to ensure non-citizens are not on voter-rolls.

My bill, the SAVE Act, would have empowered states to require proof of citizenship to vote and block the Biden-Harris DOJ from going after states.

It’s clear that the Biden-Harris administration are doing everything they can to try and stop states from ensuring that non-citizens are on voter rolls. We must hold the DOJ and this administration accountable by continuing to fight for election integrity.

Biden-Harris DOJ targets WWII death camp survivor
This past week, I renewed my call to repeal the FACE Act – a law that the Biden-Harris Department of Justice (DOJ) is weaponizing against everyday citizens.

Eva Edl, an 89-year-old death camp survivor, is awaiting a federal prison sentence after the DOJ brought charges against her for protesting outside of a Michigan abortion clinic. A woman who bravely escaped a death camp as a young girl could now possibly face death in prison for standing up for the sanctity of life.

The FACE Act has become one of the Biden-Harris administration’s favorite tools to attack the pro-life movement. We must repeal the FACE Act.
