I’ll be honest — I hate that we have to fundraise on Eva’s birthday.

But with two months left before early voting starts, we have no other choice.

I started working on this campaign early last year. I knew the campaign trail wasn't an easy ride, but no one can truly warn you of the toll it will take — emotionally, mentally, you name it.

I’ve broken down in tears a handful of times because it felt like we were trying to move a mountain. I’ve wanted to pull my hair out because of the stress of monthly fundraising deadlines. I’ve sacrificed almost my entire social life for the past year and a half to work on this campaign.
