On Tuesday, November 5, I'll be voting YES on Prop 1, John.

This ballot proposal, formerly known as the New York Equal Rights Amendment, will protect LGBTQIA+ New Yorkers and reproductive freedom, including abortion, by enshrining our rights into the state constitution.

We might like to think we’re safe from attacks on our rights here in New York, but the truth is there are dangerous loopholes in our state constitution that leave us vulnerable.

That’s why I’ve been doing everything I can to spread the word about the importance of Prop 1 and urge New Yorkers to vote for it.
