In 2018, we made history when we flipped formerly Republican districts and elected Democrats Sean Casten and Lauren Underwood to fight for the people of Illinois. And we almost elected Betsy Dirksen Londrigan as well, who missed beating an incumbent Republican by less than one percent.
In 2020, we need to defend and build on our progress. It’s going to take all of us standing together to reelect Sean and Lauren and to help put Betsy over the top in the next election.
In the House, Sean and Lauren have been standing up for people in Illinois and the nation, fighting to defend affordable health care, raise the minimum wage, and act on climate.
Betsy is ready to replace a Republican rubber stamp for President Trump and join Sean and Lauren in these fights—but she can only win if we all stand with her and support her now.
