John,
For nearly four decades, PFAW has worked to build a democratic society that implements the ideals of freedom, equality, opportunity, and justice for all, dedicated to making the promise of America real for every American.
Founded in 1981 by legendary television and film producer Norman Lear, the late Congresswoman Barbara Jordan, and a group of business, civic, religious, and civil rights leaders, who were disturbed by the divisive rhetoric of newly politicized televangelists.
PFAW and our campaign share a vision of a vibrant, diverse society that uplifts equal justice for all, where everyone has the freedom, opportunity, and access to pursue their dreams, and where all people are encouraged to participate in civic and political life.
Our America is one that acknowledges its history, respects differences and dissent, combats hatred and bigotry, nurtures creativity, and seeks justice and equity for all.
Together we will continue to encourage civic participation, defend fundamental rights, and fight to dismantle systemic barriers to equitable opportunity, and fight against right-wing extremism and the injustice it fosters.
We're honored by PFAW and the NextUp Victory Funds endorsement and support of our campaign for the DeKalb County Super 6 Commissioner seat.

Right-wing extremists are on the move all over America. Now is the time to speak out against so-called leaders who seek to divide us, and stand up for a compassionate and inclusive future with justice and equity for all.
Thank you!
