Good morning.
Later tonight is the first debate in our campaign for Senate in Michigan.
For me, the day will be filled with a lot of prep before the big event. This will be my 9th debate since I first ran in 2018, so I’m looking forward to showing the state the concrete differences between us.
When it starts, I'll do my best to make the case for why I am the right choice for the people of Michigan to fight middle class families, for higher wages and lower drug prices, and to ensure women have access to the reproductive health care they need.
And while I wish everyone in Michigan would watch the debate and use what they see to inform their decisions, I am not naive. People have families to care for, work to do, and others are totally sick of politics.
But we still need to reach those people.
I intend to do my job tonight for those who are tuning in. But in order to reach those who won’t be watching, I need your help.
And because these debates can tend to be such important inflection points for campaigns like ours, there's no better or more important time to ask.
