Hi John,
Good Afternoon
This fall voters in central Ohio will vote on Issue 4,7 a proposal to increase investments in public transportation, including bringing bus rapid transit to Columbus. This proposal will increase sales taxes, so we want residents to have full information before voting!
So join us this Saturday, October 12, from 1:00- 2:30PM for a COTA Bus Tour of the proposed West Broad Street Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line. Register here. The tour will kick off from COTA Mckinley Avenue Facility 1600 Mckinley Avenue, Columbus, OH 43222.
The tour will provide an inside look at what LinkUS aims to deliver to the citizens of Columbus, And showcase how the BRT will feel, function, and look—highlighting its distinctions from the current bus system. City and COTA officials will be on hand to answer questions about the initiative.
Also, we are still phone banking every Tuesday and Thursday until Election Day. Sign up for a shift today–only 30 more days to go!
Best regards,
Morgan Harper
