It is so
disheartening to hear stories like this.

Across the country, folks without access to the internet are talking about
the lengths they have to go to just to access wifi. From McDonald's
parking lots to getting in range of your local library, people are
desperate to get connected.

In the wealthiest nation on earth, no one should be in this position.
Especially as so many folks transition to remote work and children need
access to the internet to complete assignments and study, our government
has to do better.

[ [link removed] ]That’s why I’m fighting for universal broadband — because in the 21st
century, access to the internet ought be a basic right. Sign your name if

Let me also tackle another misconception here: While rural communities are
often hard hit by a lack of broadband, they’re not the only ones
suffering.

Our neighbors in the hearts of cities across America feel the same pain.
Even students in my own district, in the center of Silicon Valley itself,
struggle to access the internet. We must take action.

[ [link removed] ]Congress can fix this. We can make critical investments in broadband,
and fight to ensure every American has the ability to get online. Sign
your name to join the fight.

Thanks for your help,

Ro Khanna
