Hola, friend —
In case you missed it, this team recently made its biggest campaign investment to date with the release of my first statewide ad of the general election!
Well, I've got more surprises up my sleeves — because my new Spanish-language ad hit the airwaves too:
Thanks to your help, Floridians will no longer be subjected to listening to Scott's shallow attempts to relate to Hispanic voters by crying socialism. I'm sick of it, and I'm willing to bet you are, too.
But up against his million-dollar ad spends, we won't drown him out — let alone stay on the air — if I can't count on your support toward my urgent $500,000 midnight goal. Will you please chip in $5, or anything you can, before midnight?
As a Latina immigrant who came to the United States from a country that suffered under a military dictatorship, the fight for freedom is personal.
That's why few things pain me more than to hear Rick Scott try to depict me as a big, bad "socialista."
Not because it hurts my feelings, or even because he's butchering my first language, but because it's all just a tired, cynical ploy to scare Latinos in Florida into voting against our own interests, and for extremist Republicans like himself who couldn't care less about us. Ya no más.
But we all know he'll say anything, in English or Spanish, and spend any amount to convince voters otherwise.
And without your help to hit my midnight goal, I won't be able to combat the next volley of pricey attacks in Spanish he's sure to send my way.
So if you're with me, friend, will you please donate $5 or more now to help my message reach every voter in Florida? Your support is the only way we'll stop Rick Scott and flip his seat blue.

Please use the links in this email to start a weekly donation through ActBlue.

Muchas gracias,
Debbie
