Friend, it was an honor to join President Trump on stage at his recent Nevada
rally after being endorsed and mentioned during his acceptance speech at the
RNC.
In 2008, my Humvee was hit by a bomb in Afghanistan. I nearly burned to death
but I was saved by the words of my gunner, who said“Sir, I’ve got you!”

Those words gave me hope, the kind of hope needed to make it through years of
surgeries that left my face permanently scarred.
As President Trump now knows all too well, coming so close to death has a way
of changing a person’s life and renewing one’s faith.
In hindsight, I believe God spared my life so that I could serve others.
I was willing to lay down my life for my country, and to this day I still am.
I was proud to serve in Afghanistan and I will be proud to serve again
alongside President Trump.
America, I’ve got you!
