Trump has made protecting the economy a key priority of his response -- saying that, as a country, “we have to go back to work.”
But at the same time, Trump and the GOP are trying to destroy the United States Postal Service, a critical institution that’s also a major means of employment for over 600,000 Americans -- especially women, veterans, and people of color.
House Democrats have sprung into action, saying, “Every community in America relies on the Postal Service to deliver vital goods and services, including life-saving medications. The Postal Service needs America’s help, and we must answer this call.”
But USPS has said they may need to cease operations as early as next month. With such a critical lifeline so threatened, we want to hear from you:
